What is your Purpose?
Many of my clients are on a search for purpose, especially with work. Understandably, as consciousness expands faster than the economy, more questions arise around how to meaningfully pass one’s time. 🤔
Purpose and meaning touch many aspects of life. In work, some feel purpose on a team, sharing their talent, or nudging the needle on culture or the environment. For parents, purpose may be their kids. Monks find purpose sitting quietly for hours. But what if these stop feeling like enough? What if something feels stuck?
Work can shift. As culture expands its consciousness, we slowly give more value to work that aligns with that consciousness. That can look like pivoting from advertising to company culture, or a teacher may integrate social and emotional learning in academics. Slowly, we find work that feels more meaningful, or bring meaning to our work. And that evolves, as well.
Feeling whole makes purpose flow. Outside work, a holistic balance of expressing body, mind and spirit clarifies purpose. It’s not that suddenly your dream job manifests because you’re practicing yoga, but when you tap wisdom from your body, friends, and source, the search itself softens into a pleasant, connecting feeling. Your wholeness becomes purposeful.
Wholeness is in you here and now. What’s in the way of feeling whole? What will help you clear the path to feel your innate purpose?
